You’re four posts into your new blog, you’ve already said the main things you wanted to say so what next? Call BlogStar? well you could, we’ve got writers who do this stuff all day for fun. If you’re keen to keep it in house though, here are a few tips for keeping the content production line fresh & interesting.

1. Review a new report or survey within your industry. Often, a summary of a lengthy report can be of great help to your readers. Introduce the report, list and explain the key points, finishing off with a point of discussion to encourage comments.

2. A tutorial post is an ideal way of providing help for your readers. Are there questions that come up regularly from customers, or are there aspects of your business activities you can describe? Write up the key stages in the process and illustrate with images or a video.

3. Interviews can be a great way of introducing up-to-the-minute information, keeping your readership aware of new developments in your field. Additionally, you could enhance your blog with corporate video content. For example, film an interview with an expert in your field at a trade fair and provide a transcript.

4. Develop existing resources. Although you are the main contributor to your company blog, why not tap into your business network. Are there others within your company who can contribute their expertise on related subject matter and at the same time provide a fresh voice? Alternatively invite an industry expert to guest blog.

5. Infographics are another great way of summarising information. Infographics make for excellent long-lasting viral content which can only enhance brand exposure.

6. Publish useful case studies relevant to your industry. Outline the challenges presented in your case study, how challenges were overcome and meaningful statistics on outcomes.

However, if this sounds like a lot of effort (and it is, believe me) why not let BlogStar take the strain – 020 7395 1522
